1965: Jewel Of an Island
To celebrate Singapore’s 40 years of independence, German watch manufacturer
Glashutte Original has created a special edition timepiece designed with an old
map of Singapore on a porcelain dial. Behind this creation is the story of one
Sri Lankan immigrant who found success in his new home and one German company’s
