Arete Films, LLC announces Tramon & Kardulias main stars of “Pizza Palace”

Movie Production Editing Shooting Carl Tramon and George Kardulias will costar in an Arete Films, LLC comedy drama to be shot in Baltimore during the summer of 2004.

(PRWEB) May 26, 2004 -- Arete Films, LLC of Baltimore, Maryland, announces it has cast the two costars for its independent feature film entitled “Pizza Palace”. Carl Anthony Tramon of New York City, NY, a highly experienced performer of Broadway Theater, episodic television and film, will share the silver screen with recent newcomer to the entertainment arena, George Drosos Kardulias of Herndon, VA.

Messrs Tramon and Kardulias will portray characters of Hellenic ancestry with Kardulias portraying a gruff middle-aged Greek immigrant who owns a restaurant in Baltimore, and Tramon, an irresponsible teenager who becomes his protégé after a series of circumstances leads him to employment at the “Pizza Palace”. This family oriented film will be shot in the Baltimore area, and is labeled as a dramatic comedy. Mr. Radhames Lopez of Timonium, Maryland who will direct “Pizza Palace”, has stated that, “The chemistry and realism that both Carl and George bring to the movie were instrumental in my selecting them, and will ensure that the story is conveyed with the appropriate conviction of a drama and yet the light hearted nature of a comedy.”

Marie Ridgley, who managed the casting calls, said, “Bringing Carl and George together in this screenplay will ensure a high quality independent film that viewers will be anxious to watch”. Executive producer and coauthor of “Pizza Palace”, Kyriakos Marudas of Baltimore reflected that it took a lot of searching and aggressive work to put these dynamic lead actors together, and he feels the team of Tramon and Kardulias will ensure not only praise at film festivals but will be have film distributors vying for the rights to distribute “Pizza Palace”. Marudas stated that with the cast we have selected, “The film is a sure fired winner”.

A teaser for the film will be shot in Baltimore on June 5, 2004. This event will be open to the press with prior notification.
