Tupelo Mississippi is to re-inact Elvis's famous Homecoming of September 26th 1956, when it holds it's annual Elvis festival in early june 2006.

Meanwhile after more than 17,300 votes, Elvis is way ahead of the rest with 44% of the votes cast. Marilyn Monroe the closest to him with 24%, on the MSN/NBC Poll for the top Icon of the Century.

It looks like Elvis Presley fans will definitely not have a, "Blue Christmas", this year.
