North Andover Producer/Director Harbaldeep Singh will shoot a supernatural thriller in Andover, Massachusetts, from May 15-20. “The Voodoo Dancer” explores how far a grandmother will go to save her teenage grandson’s life threatened by a ghost of a female dancer.
(PRWEB) May 14, 2004 -- The story, including Asian-Indian characters and a pivotal Caucasian role, tests the lengths to which one will go to protect his or her family—no matter what the cost. The film portrays a person, who must make a decision that will either result in shame or honor for the family.
“We will use a lot of lighting and mood techniques to show the ghosts on the screen,” said Singh. “You will feel the presence of ghosts near you.”
A professional film crew will shoot the Eyedea Productions film, casting actors from New England and New York area. Best day for press coverage will be May 15—filming at North Andover Middle School, 495 Main Street, Andover, MA, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.. May 16-20 (except May 19)—filming at 42 Jay Road, North Andover, MA, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
“The Voodoo Dancer” is Singh’s New York Film Academy graduate thesis film. It is scheduled for a Summer 2004 release.
