Aman is out to revolutionize the industry. Aman is one of the few independent groups to have music featured in major motion pictures (Raising Helen starring Kate Hudson and Scary Movie 3), and two of televisions highest rated shows (CSI Miami and the Bernie Mac Show). The group is now working closely with Tupac's mutli-platinum producer Johnny J and Napoleon of Tupac's Outlawz. With two appearances on Napoleon's debut solo album, Scriptures from a Thugs Point of View.
(PRWEB) May 31, 2004--We released "the Awakening" independently, meaning we
did the whole thing ourselves... just us and the fam. No record company money
for promotions, none of that. But we still got airplay on major radio stations,
got our joints bangin' in the clubs, in movies and tv shows. We've rocked shows
in Richmond VA, Detroit MI, D.C., St.Paul/Minneapolis/Brooklyn Park MN, Jersey
City NJ, Madison WI, Phoenix AZ, Chicago/Bloomingdale IL, and of course up and
down Cali cause that's home.
Art imitates life... and life imitates art. "the Awakening" was our chance to
get a lot off of our chest. It was an emotional album cause it documents the
lives of two warriors (amaar and siege).
we're not the type of cats to talk about things we've never experienced
ourselves. We document our lives and the lives of those around us and share our
stories with the world. "the Awakening" was an introduction of Aman to the
world, an introduction of Amaar and Siege. It gave an insight into our lives and
our thoughts at that time.
We've moved 15,000 units of our first album "the Awakening" across the US and
overseas. We're not planning on pressing anymore so if you got em, u got em.
AMAN had got two joints in the movie Scary Movie 3, "Arabian Knights" and "the
Game". We're putting out quality music and these industry heads know that. We're
the kids from the block with big dreams and the drive to match feel me? We had
two songs in "Scary Movie 3", got a joint in "CSI Miami" and "the Bernie Mac
Show" too.
We also have music in "Raising Helen" starring Kate Hudson, it hits theatres on
May 28th, 2004 so check for Aman in the credits.
