Red Jacket Prepares For Battle!

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 29, 2004--The New York City alt-rock band, Red Jacket, has been selected from over 200 bands to compete at the Hard Rock Café New York battle of the bands. Red Jacket will perform amongst 3 other bands on Thursday June 10th starting at 10 PM.

This evening’s event is sponsored by Rolling Rock’s “Town Fair Five� band search. The competition is being held in 17 cities nationwide (New York, Boston, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Miami, Memphis, Orlando, Dallas, Austin, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Denver, Chicago, New Orleans, Tampa and Indianapolis) during the dates of May 31 - June 21, 2004. The winner will be performing at the Rolling Rock Town Fair Five Festival held at Westmoreland Country Fairgrounds in Latrobe, PA. The winning band will be the opening act for Staind, Disturbed, The Crystal Method, Hoobastank, Sevendust, Finch, Finger Eleven, and Three Days Grace.
