Windsor, ON, Canada, March 31, 2008 (XTVWorld.Com) -- Relationship experts Chef Robert and Barb Catherine see many newly weds, they have found both bride and groom don't know how to cook or don't cook.
We have talked to so many newly weds, future brides and woman that don't cook. "It is different from when I was growing up. My mom was always home and we always had dinner as a family" explains Barb.
Young families need to find time to share a meal together.
It is an important time for family bonding and where families get to see and hear what is going on.
As a teacher in high school he listens to many students who don't eat as a family anymore. Sometimes due to work, children's activities and everyone is just too busy. The students say they miss eating as a family. I know from experience that when our children entered high school it became harder to have dinner together" says an understanding Chef Robert Catherine.
Establishing eating patterns
with a young family is much easier to do. Suggestions, such as making a planned time for dinner. Work out schedule conflicts so you can plan to have dinners together on certain days.
When newly weds get into a habit of cooking and having dinner together without watching television this pattern will be continued when they have children.
