The Station #1 for Hip-Hop Hot 107.1 and movie producer/director John Singleton are conducting a week long contest to find the best local music producer in Memphis, Tennessee to help promote the upcoming film, “Hustle and Flow” which being filming in Memphis beginning in July 2004.
Memphis, TN (PRWEB) May 26, 2004 -- The Station #1 for Hip-Hop Hot 107.1 and movie producer/director John Singleton (Boyz-N-The-Hood, Poetic Justice, 2Fast 2Furious) are conducting a week long contest to find the best local music producer in Memphis, Tennessee to help promote the upcoming film, “Hustle and Flow” being filmed in Memphis beginning in July 2004 (related articles).
Contestants are allowed to submit a maximum of three original songs on CD that do not contain any samples of any commercially released material.
All submissions may be mailed or dropped off at the Hot 107.1 studios located at 6080 Mt. Moriah, Memphis, TN 38115 attn: Hustle & Flow Contest during normal business hours 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday. Deadline is Friday May 28, 2004 at 5:00pm.
