Movie Production Editing Shooting The film, which drew great interest at Cannes, is set for release in August.

Cannes, France (PRWEB) May 25, 2004 -- Audiences at the Cannes Film Festival were the first to see the trailer to "L.A. Falls". Now it's available online. (http://www.carlosalvarez.us/lafalls_trailer.htm)

The film, about a cop investigating a series of murders from Miami to Los Angeles, will be released in the US in August. Carlos Alvarez and Jason Graham star in the Douglas Elford-Argent picture.

"We're excited to be able to show audiences a glimpse of what they will be seeing in August," explains Mr. Elford-Argent. "We are also introducing the title song to the film, which is the background track to the trailer."

While the film is not yet completed, Mr. Elford-Argent is confident that it will be well-received. "We know that movies like this one can do well. We saw it with 'Narc'. Audiences love stories that take a more honest look at crime and police corruption."

Meanwhile, the actors in the film are happy to see anything at all. "We're excited to see whose performance is better. Obviously, we both think that the other one did a better job," jokes Jason Graham, who plays the criminal at the center of the story. Turning more serious, he says, "It's just nice to know that the effort paid off."

Carlos Alvarez, who plays the policeman chasing Mr. Graham's character, believes that the trailer is demonstrative of the director's supreme talent. "Doug has delivered on his promise. I always thought he would. It's the reason everyone was so excited to be working with him."

When asked if seeing the trailer makes it easier to feel comfortable about their performances in the movie, however, the two actors tense up. "That will never happen. We will never be truly comfortable with our performances in a film. Hopefully, audiences will like them. But we never will," explains Mr. Alvarez, with a smile. Mr. Graham clearly agrees.
