"The Newscast Network" a radio content service specializing in customed news reports for local U-S markets has joined the list of "different" items available on Ebay at www.ebay.com

The 400-dollar asking price is for one month of virtual newscasts (a 3 hour shift Monday-Friday) supplied to your radio station and delivered, not by UPS, but as mp3's sent to FTP servers or attached to email.
In operation since 2001, the Newscast Network has supplied daily local news in the markets of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Austin, Texas and more recently has added stations in Idaho and Utah.
The 400 dollar price is the lowest monthly rate usually reserved for market sizes 201+, but this auction is open to all markets as an introductory offer. Additional dayparts are available, as well as continuation of the service on a contract based on market size.
Newscast Network Director Kevin Coan said "I ran out of garage sale items, so I really had to get creative", the chuckling Coan wiped the smile off his face and said he really does take Local News very seriously as well as client satisfaction.
