Performing Arts Art Entertainment Merced resident, Matthew Powell, makes his dream come true for another season. The Starlight Cafe Theatre is proud to announce their summer 2004 line up!

(PRWEB) May 21, 2004--Artistic Director and Founder of The Starlight Café Theatre, Matthew Powell, has been busy working with both Playhouse Merced and the Merced College Theater during the off-season of his theatre. Powell was in The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged), Cabaret, and The Laramie Project. As if that wasn’t enough, he directed Merced College’s Production of The Rocky Horror Show, and is currently rehearsing for a principal role in the upcoming Chorus Line at Playhouse Merced. Somehow between all of those rehearsals and performances, he managed to dedicate time to his dream ~ The Starlight Café Theatre ~ and is proud to announce his second summer season!

All shows begin at 8:00 p.m. at The Mansion House located on the corner of 20th Street and Canal. For those of you wishing to treat your pallets prior to the performances, enjoy our 4-course “Dinner-all-the-way package” or, if you’d prefer something lighter, check out Heather Vann’s special new café menu.
