VOIP Telecom Communication ilon writes "XCome Technology, a global leading application innovator for mobile carriers and handset manufacturers in the wireless world announced that it received a Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs subsidy for the development of its mobile IM solution and passed the final test. At the same time, XCome's XMessenger was nominated for the list of SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) success cases.

Taipei, Taiwan, May 16, 2006 (XTVWorld.Com) -- In 2004, XCome began with the development of a new wireless/mobile instant messaging software called XMessenger focusing on three main functions: the IM module, connectivity to MSN and Yahoo, and the Dynamic Client Conference Center Protocol, DCCCP. After a total development period of 13 months, this project was officially closed in the first quarter of this year (2006). Surpassing development spending of 300.000 US Dollars XMessenger passed the tests for GPRS/WiFi, W-CDMA and TD-SCDMA. In today's test, XMessenger successfully displayed its MSN and Yahoo based VoIP, receiving high marks from the members of the testing committee.

XCome's XMessenger received the SBIR subsidy and passed the final test on May 3 which confirms the success of the software development. One of the outstanding developments within this project is the Dynamic Client Conference Center Protocol (DCCCP) which allows users to communicate between different platforms/IM services. The distinctive characteristic of this module is emphasized by the number of patents XCome has received.

The results and achievements of this project will be the building blocks for commercial products which will be launched in international markets for 2006. With these products, consumers will enjoy even more sending and receiving of instant messages.

The winners of the list of SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) success cases will be announced in the coming year.
