(PRWEB) May 16, 2004 -- Wilds tringz are thre separate string-led bands, one by Joe Deninzon on on violin, another with Martha Mooke on viola and the third features cellist Von Cello. Admission is $10.
Martha Mooke is a pioneer in the field of the electric five string viola with a unique musical voice synthesizing her classical music training with extended techniques, digital effects processing and improvisation, while retaining the depth and soul of the instrument. She is a Yamaha and Thomastik-Infeld Performing Artist. Ms. Mooke's duo Bowing, with electric ebow guitarist Randolph Hudson, III, recently released it's debut CD Cafe Mars on the 2105 A.D. label.
She's played with David Bowie, Philip Glass, Enya, Moby, John Cale, Lou Reed, Al DiMeola, Ziggy Marley, Rufus Wainwright, the Kronos Quartet and has appeared on the David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Rosie O'Donnell shows.
Joe Deninzon has been hailed as "The Jimi Hendrix of the Violin." "... a major figure among the new generation of jazz/fusion musicians." -Jazziz magazine.
He is celebrating the release of his new album, Live Wires at this party and has played with: Sheryl Crow, Everclear, Ritchie Blackmore, Smokey Robinson, Johnny Mathis, Les Paul, and Robert Bonfiglio and many others.
His band Stratospheerius combines the raw rock fusion of The Mahavishnu Orchestra, the avant garde humor of Frank Zappa, the pop sensibilities of Dave Matthews, and the electronic jazz-funk grooves of Medeski, Martin, and Wood to create a Stratospheeric musical experience.

Von Cello has performed and been interviewed on FOX and Friends, Associated Press, Good Day New York, the Regis and Kelly Show, and several radio stations. He has performed with artists from Tony Bennett to David Bowie to the Plasmatics. His music is in the curriculums of many schools and universities, and performed by cellists worldwide.
