What: Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity, the entertainment industry partnership with Habitat for Humanity South Bay, is sponsoring a special ‘All Women Build’ as part of the organization’s ‘Six Homes in Six Weeks Blitz.’ On May 22nd, Paige Hemmis will volunteer to be crew leader as the team nears completion of the Long beach home, built almost entirely by women and 90% by the entertainment industry.
Who: Paige Hemmis currently stars on ABC’s top-rated “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” every Sunday at 8 pm. The self-taught carpenter is a successful entrepreneur from Los Angeles and appeared on “Monster House” prior to joining the cast of the popular ABC show.
